Can You Prevent Cancer with Ayurveda? Here’s What You Need to Know!

Everyone is looking for a cure for cancer. This is very difficult to accomplish since cancer can be very aggressive in certain cases and may be hard to reverse. The best cure for cancer is to prevent it from happening in the first place.

To accomplish this, it is good to know what causes it, then we can have the best possible path to avoid those pitfalls and hopefully live our lives cancer-free.

What we do know here in the west is that harmful substances in the environment, such as chemicals in tobacco smoke and the other 80,000 chemicals that we have surrounded ourselves with in the food, air, soil, skin care products, pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals can damage our DNA and cause mutations leading to genetic changes which lead to cancer.

This is exactly what occurs in our bodies to cause a cancer, but let me show you a deeper perspective based on the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda.

First, there are four types of toxins, known as ama, ama visha, gar visha and indravajravijanya visha (EMF’s).

Ama gets produced from the improper digestion of food — either if the food is too heavy or if the person’s digestion is impaired, or a little bit of both. In this case the food doesn’t break down into small enough particles to enter the bloodstream and residues of the food remain behind, clogging this initial channel and then all subsequent channels in the body, such as channels that carry blood, sweat, toxins, tears and so on. This is why we feel congested after we eat ice cream or drink cold milk. The sinuses, throat and lungs are channels which need to be open to allow air to go in and out. But the ama that gets produced after eating this cold dairy clogs these channels, creating phlegm and congestion.

While ama can create clogging, heaviness, lethargy, stiffness and depression, it is not as dangerous as the next three toxins, all of which can form cancer.

Ama visha is the toxin that gets produced from the ama rotting and fermenting in the gut, forming a highly reactive, acidic and inflammatory toxin. The word visha means poison and this type of toxin is one of three types that can produce cancer if left unchecked.

Ama visha can also get produced in the body from emotional stress and grief. This means that you could be eating healthy foods, but during these stressful emotional states the food could turn directly into ama visha instead of being digested correctly.

And finally, when the liver overheats from too many toxins going through it, instead of processing the foods correctly as they enter the body, a hot angry liver can also convert the food directly into ama visha, even if the food is healthy coming in. This means that the liver mistakenly oxidizes the food instead of intelligently processing it the way it’s supposed to. A good example of this is the development of food allergies as witnessed in young children today who receive too many immunizations and antibiotics, both of which disturb their digestive systems. We call it a food allergy or intolerance or sensitivity, but in reality what is happening is that the food is turning into poison or ama visha in their gut.

Whereas ama and ama visha get produced on the inside of the body from the improper combustion of foods, gar visha, the third type of toxin, are toxins that we take into our bodies from the outside world. These are those 80,000 chemicals I just described.

And Indravajravijanya visha or EMF’s gets produced from radiation from cell phones, cell phone towers, computers, WIFI, microwaves and other forms of electromagnetic frequencies.

So these last three vishas, ama visha, gar visha and indravarjravijanya visha have two main actions, known as “vikashi” and “vyavai.”

The vikashi quality of visha depletes the physiology of its Ojas, specifically at the levels of the gaps in between the tissues and cells.

And it is here in the gaps where all transformations occur.

The vyavai quality is what gives visha its speed, it is what helps the visha bypass the digestive and metabolic processes allowing it to reach its destination immediately. Mercury, lead, nicotine, pesticides, air pollution and these types of dangerous chemicals all exhibit this vyavai quality of visha. They bypass the physiology’s regular absorption paths and go to their targeted destination in an accelerated manner.

Normally it takes about a month for the food you eat to be digested, assimilated into the bloodstream and then travel through the 7 tissues of the body which are the blood plasma, blood, muscle, fat, bone, bone marrow and the reproductive fluids. The food we eat spends 3-5 days nourishing a particular tissue before moving onto the next. However, ama visha and gar visha make a beeline through all the tissues and cells immediately, bypassing the normal routes of digestion and assimilation.

And it is this vikashi and vyavai qualities of visha which bring about the formation and development of aberrant rogue cancerous cells that have lost their intelligent function.

How does this happen? The vikashi action of visha burns the Ojas from all the tissues, disturbing the intelligence of the gaps where all transformation occur. Ojas is found in all the gaps in the body, allowing our cells to perform all their hundreds of functions and communication pathways in a highly intelligent way.

Ojas gets produced as an end product of good digestion and eating healthy food. The molecule of Ojas carries the prana within it deep into the cellular system. Prana is the intelligent vibration from the sun and the moon which we get from the air we breathe, the food we eat, the water we drink and the absorption of this life force through important marma or vibrational channels, which travel down the spine, feeding prana or intelligence to all the cells in our body.

And it is this intelligence which keeps the cells functioning the way they’re supposed to. If the cells become unintelligent it can disrupt normal cell functioning where the cells can’t remember when to stop dividing, resulting in cancerous growths.

So to prevent cancer from ever taking hold in your body, always start with digestion. There is a saying that all diseases begin in the gut. In this day and age, there are too many toxins which destroy the gut microbiome — antibiotics, immunizations, acid reflux medicines, steroids and oral contraceptives. If you have taken any of these medications you must re-establish your friendly bacteria. Otherwise the gut becomes leaky, which means that it will leak dangerous toxins into your bloodstream.

Normally the gut is sealed and functions in an intelligent manner — it knows to allow nutrients to be absorbed into the bloodstream and at the same time keep toxic substances out, allowing them to exit our bodies through our bowel movements.

If we take any of these medications the gut can become leaky and absorb all types of toxic substances which could contribute to causing cancer. For example, one such toxin which is very dangerous and resides in our gut is the gram negative bacteria containing lipopolysaccharides or LPS. This LPS is extremely toxic and dangerous. It is normal that it would be in our gut — everyone contains this LPS and the good news is that it passes directly out of the gut and into our bowel movements so it cannot harm us. The bad news is that if our gut is leaky the LPS will absorb into our bloodstream and contribute to many of the common diseases plaguing mankind today, such as diabetes, metabolic syndrome and cancer.

Not only that, when the gut microbiome is destroyed the food won’t digest well and will form ama and then ama visha in the gut.

Try to limit your intake of pharmaceuticals overall. Keep your exposure to toxic skincare products to a minimum understanding that all of the chemicals they may contain will absorb directly from the skin into the bloodstream quicker than if you have swallowed them.

And even limit your intake of synthetic vitamins and other nutraceuticals. Because they are not grown outside under the sun and moonlight like herbs, foods and spices, they are lacking in prana and even though they may help to alleviate some symptoms, at the cellular level they are lacking in intelligence and may contribute towards cancer formation.

The electromagnetic toxins are such concentrated electromagnetic energy that they can destroy and burn up anything they touch in an instant.

Ama visha is a bad toxin. Gar visha is worse, due to its chemical nature as it can travel more quickly and reach deep into the cells, wreaking havoc. But the accumulation of EMF’s actually proceeds at an even faster pace than both ama visha and gar visha within the physiology, quickly depleting the Ojas located in between the gaps of the tissues and cells.

This is due to the agneya quality or burning quality of the EMF’s. If you must work on computers all day, at least try to mitigate their effects by getting out in nature, putting 3 fresh torn basil leaves in water and sipping on it throughout the day, or soaking in a tub of water that contains a handful of fresh basil leaves as basil can absorb radiation out of your body.

The bark of trees is also great at absorbing radiation so sit against a tree if you can for at least a half hour a day. Also lying directly on the earth or the sand at the beach for about an hour each day will also absorb the radiation out of your body.

Any direct contact with nature, especially if your shoes are off and you can absorb the healing electrons that the earth provides directly into the soles of your feet. These electrons cannot penetrate the rubber soles in your shoes, so if it is warm enough either walk outside or sit with your feet directly on the earth without your shoes on.

If you are diagnosed with cancer you must fix your digestion, change your diet to wholesome and intelligent foods, and then learn several methods of detox designed specifically for you — target toxins at the level of the individual organs and glands, clean the liver, flush the kidneys, clean the fat cells where the gar visha loves to hang out, clean the bone marrow, and any of the 7 tissues which may be harboring toxins.

We have specific herbs which clean the fat cells, others which clean the bone marrow, others which clean the muscle, bone, blood, blood plasma or any of the 7 tissues. The herbs are too numerous to mention here, but you should always be under the care of an Ayurvedic physician who has experience in correct detoxification tailored specifically for each unique individual’s physiology.

Cancer is a terrible prognosis because once the cells lose their intelligence it is very difficult to reverse, so it’s best if you eat as healthy as you can, avoiding all the artificial ingredients in the foods, cook at home using wholesome ingredients, avoid as many chemicals as you can and learn to mitigate the side effects of the computers and cell phones you must use each day.
